Relax

After finishing construction on a subdivision, the client wanted to create a comfortable green space for them and their family to spend time outside. This easy to maintain garden was designed to be a place to relax and enjoy.

Overgrown

This small garden bed was in dire need of some care. The trees were causing problems with the house and the garden bed was overrun with roots and weeds. We quickly got to work, removing the trees, weeds and exposing the beautiful orange flowering ixora hedge that was hidden beneath. You would struggle to find someone that loves trees more than me but even I recognise that sometimes people plant the wrong thing in the wrong spot and it needs to removed. Fortunately, the garden bed is now ready for new plants, and the client is thrilled with the results!

Transform

This garden bed in a Brisbane backyard was an eye sore full of fish tail fern weeds and seeds. We removed the weeds and contaminated soil before planting sun loving cordylines, gazanias and liriope to name a few. This photo was taken just 3 months after planting.

Pruning

This overgrown syzgium tree was in need of a good prune to stop it encroaching on the driveway and before it got too tall that you would need an expensive arborist to deal with. We pruned the tree to a more manageable height and ornamental shape. The client was thrilled with the results and is looking forward to watching the tree fill back into a beautiful feature.

Natives

After clearing the area the client tasked us with a bare space that was a great opporunity to add a beatuiful garden with lots of street appeal. We designed the garden to be as low maintenance and hardy as possible with a variety of Australian native plants. In just 9 months the garden has grown spectacularly and is a unique beauty in the neighbourhood.

Coaching

After finishing the renovations on their home the clients needed a new garden to match. The client wanting to learn more about gardening, joined us for coaching from start to finish of the garden construction. We brought in high quality soil, added rocks to the slopes, planted a variety of perennials, shrubs and trees. The client has become a true green thumb and is looking forward to watching the garden grow and applying their new skills.

Weeds

A busy few years means gardens and weeds get negelected. This side passage of a larger Brisbane garden was once home to a thriving vegetable patch until the weeds took over. The client called us to get everything back under control. Instead of spraying herbisides and leaving a mess of dead plants, we removed the weeds by hand using specialty Japanese tools.

Helping hands

This garden was designed by a landscape architect and the client wanted to keep it looking good. The client would join us as we maintained the garden together by pruning, weeding, fertilizing and treating. Tea and cookies were always provided and we enjoyed the time we spent together.
